I recently tried several of the Mamma Chia Vitality Beverages, and was pleasantly surprised! This is definitely not your typical beverage. It’s not thin and watery, but instead is thick yet refreshing, with a pleasant jelly-like texture from the chia seeds. Upon first glance, I was surprised at how the seeds were perfectly (and beautifully) suspended throughout the bottle and had not settled down at the bottom like I was expecting. They come in a wide variety of flavors, but my favorite to date is the Coconut Mango (but all the ones I have tried are amazing!) They are all organic, lightly sweetened with agave nectar, and are packed with an entire day’s worth of Omega-3s (2,500 milligrams), 25% of your daily fiber requirement, 4 grams of complete protein, and 95 milligrams of calcium, plus loads of antioxidants and minerals. All this, and only 120 calories a bottle! I found them to be quite filling (probably from all that fiber) and are the perfect mid-afternoon pick-me-up! Take a walk on the wild side and give them a try – you won’t be disappointed!

I tried Mamma Chia, Wild Raspberry Chia Squeeze vitality snack for the first time. I love the packaging. Its in a 3.5 oz squeeze package with a good size opening for drinking. It reminded me of gelatin, only in a more liquid form. I liked the over all flavor. I did not like that the seeds were not a little more blended into the drink because the seeds kept getting stuck in my teeth. I drank it at room temperature, I may have like it even more if it had been refrigerated. I love the fact that it has so many nutrients, especially the 1200mg of Omega-3s. It is definitely “Great for the body”! I think it is definitely a must try!

I received the Coconut Mango flavor of Chia Squeeze. It had a refreshing tropical flavor which even my picky eater kids enjoyed! I love the health benefits of chia seeds, and while I’m not someone who usually uses pouches, I sure can appreciate the convenience of these tasty pouches. They would be a great source of carbs prior to or during an intense weight training session, and make a great snack that I feel great about giving to my five kiddos.

On the way out the door for my girls’ track meet I remembered the Berry Bliss squeeze pouch sitting in the fridge and grabbed it. If you’ve been to a track meet before then you know it is an all day affair and this was the perfect size snack to slip into my bag for later that day. Having tried Mamma’s vitality drink in the past, I knew I’d be in for a treat as well as get in some good nutrients – the pouch contained 4 grams of fiber, 2 grams of protein and a fair amount of Omega-3 at 70 calories. Not bad. In case you’re not familiar with the benefits of chia seeds, they are tiny little seeds that are a fiber power house! They are rich in antioxidants and the plant-based omega-3 fatty acid, ALA (alpha-linoleic acid) which is great for the heart and brain.
As an on-the-go snack, these pouches are great! I enjoyed mine chilled and it was super refreshing and very flavorful . I usually train early in the morning before the sun is up and need to keep my pre-workout fairly light. The squeeze would likely be a good option as a pre-workout as well and would also be great to pack in the kiddos lunch boxes.

I am a newbie here but I am trying to lead a healthier lifestyle and this blog will be a great resource.
I am new to em2wl. But it has helped me to not depend on the scale and realize there are better results to look forward to.
I am a newbie learning my way through the changes. If it had not been for my sister being with this site and seeing the wonderful changes she has gone through, I would not have tried this site. I am slowly seeing the changes in myself the longer I am with EM2WL. I am very thankful for being shown this site to help in my battle of weight loss.
Kiki & EM2WL has taught me many things about the wonders of heavy lifting and fueling my body correctly. But the most important thing I’ve learned is how vital it is to get enough to eat so my efforts in the weight room aren’t lost. I have always had a terrible habit of under eating and skipping meals but now I know getting enough calories not only is super important to build the muscle I want but for everything to balance out perfectly.

EM2WL taught me you need to eat to grow muscles. I was seeing no changes for years, until I realized thru Kiki and Lucia, that I needed to fuel my body to grow and change. That eating chocolate was ok… there is a way to life a fun and fulfilling lie along with being strong, fit, and healthy…. I’ll NEVER go back to fad diets and miracle pills!!! I have seen the light(and the food!!)
EM2WL has been instrumental to my journey to find health and fitness. I have met the most amazing people who have lifted me up when I was down and celebrated with me in both big and small victories.
The last two years I have gained knowledge and strength of body and mind. I am no longer a slave to the scale, a diet or obsessive food thoughts. Best of all I have gained friendship.

EM2WL made me come out of my “too scared to try anything but VLCD” approach!! Although I am yet too scared to increase all the way, I firmly believe I need to be lifting and eating to lift -This believe lead me to start NROLFW – for some having never lifted anything past 6lb DB and considered 10lb too heavy, finished stage 2 of NROLFW with deadlifts and PR almost every other work out has made me believe in myself and what I am capable of!! Learnt so much already and so much more to go!! Thanks to awesome EM2WL team members for constantly easing our fears and holding hands..!!
EMTWL has helped me to understand that I dont need to starve myself to be healthy. I have spend the last two years lifting weights and increasing in strengths I never thought possible. All because I am learning to eat more and trust the process. I still have days where I struggle with it all, but even with all of the struggles, I have never gone back to my old ways of eating. Im learning to love myself no matter the size and truly leg go of the diet mentality. I don’t know where I would be without EMTWL.
Em2wl is the best that happened to me. It liberated me from the prison of VLC dieting and helped my to finally break out of EDs claws.

EM2WL inspired me to do just that! I was struggling with weight loss, trying to maintain a 1,200 calorie/day diet and feeling like crap with no energy and tired all the time. My body hurt and I was not recovering from workouts. I came across a post Kiki had made on a blog, and immediately was interested. I decided to give it a shot, and after increasing my calories I felt WAY better, suddenly started making new gains in my workouts, and continued to lose weight. I am thankful for EM2WL!
Would love to win this and try the chia seeds! I have heard such great things about it and it would fit in with my weight lifting routine perfectly! As a light midmorning snack so when I get to the gym at lunch time I don’t feel overwhelmingly full or sick. EM2WL is a great blog that I have used to get over the weightlifting scary muscles. I now think that muscles are AWESOME and I have lost more weight lifting than doing only cardio:)

Words can’t begin to describe how thankful I am to have stumbled across you guys a couple years ago. I don’t remember which one of you was my first MFP Friend, but I know that the rest of you followed quickly. I was in the midst of my battle with ED and starting to realize that life was unsustainable. Throughout my journey, as I traveled back and forth between Restriction and Eating, self-hatred and self-doubt, fear and the beginnings of confidence, you have all taught me so much. I’m still learning and growing every day, but most of my days are filled with joy and self-satisfaction rather than fear and self-hatred. I don’t always feel beautiful or sexy or strong or sleek, but I can safely say I will never return to the ED days. I wouldn’t be where I am if it weren’t for your beauty and knowledge, strength and encouragement. Never once did you judge. Never once did you criticize. Always, you encouraged and loved and listened and understood. Though it would be great to win the giveaway, it’s more important that I make sure you guys all know the influence you and EM2WL (even though I needed to WM(weigh more)) have had on my life. <3
